If you live in the LA/OC area, and you have either no track experience or years of track experience, you are invited to attend the next Ladies Only Track Sessions (LOTS) as follows:

Encino ~ Sat Oct 10th (9am-4pm) Jr Open House ~ free *See info below*
Encino ~ Sat Oct 10th (9am-4pm) Whole Bike Swap Meet *See info below*

Encino ~ Sat Nov 7th (9am-11am) Keiren School
Encino ~ Sat Nov 7th (11am-1pm) LOTS Session

Encino ~ Sat Nov 14th (9am-11am) Keiren School
Encino ~ SatNov 14th (11am-1pm) LOTS Session

The LOTS Keiren School session fee is $5.
The LOTS session fee is $10.
LOTS Racing School Session fee $50 (next date TBD)

All LOTS Session fees include the use of a Rental Bike.

Saturday Oct 10th (9am-4pm) ~ It is JR OPEN HOUSE day at The Encino Velodrome.
Boys & Girls of all ages are invited to bring their friends & Parents to the Encino Velodrome for a fun day of chores and bike riding! If you’ve never experienced Olympic style track cycling, you will definitely enjoy yourself!! In exchange for a twirl around the 250 meter oval bike track, we have a list of super easy ‘Handyman Projects’ to be completed. Each project completed earns you time on the bike!

Sat Oct 10th ‘Whole Bike’ Swap Meet ~ We are excited to be hosting the first ever “Whole Bike” swap meet at the Encino Velodrome. Bring an unlimited number of your unused, gently used or no-longer used “ride ready” bmx, road, track or mtn bikes etc to sell at our Whole Bike Swap Meet. We are looking to make this a grand event. So don’t sit at home glued to your Computer screen waiting for the next On-Line bicycle bid. Come to the Encino Velodrome and bring ALL of your extra bikes for sale.

Sat Oct 10th ~ Free "BBQ" at the Encino Velodrome ~ Work Hard, Ride gently, Eat burgers 'n dogs till you are satisfied! The Grill will be smoking from 11-1PM for everyone!

Sun Oct 18th ~ Last Chance Track Race at the Encino Velodrome ~ If you thought the racing season was over, you thought wrong!

Bicycle John's & Team Hollywood are excited to invite you to join us at the Encino Velodrome for one more chance to race on the velodrome this season!

Road Bikes Allowed! -- We want to encourage new track racers at the velodrome so both road bikes & track bikes may be used for the 12 lap pursuit. Additionally, road and track bikes will compete against each other in the same categories for the same prizes.

REGISTRATION ~ Please send pre-registration to Sandra Talavera C/O Bicycle John’s, 1038 North Hollywood Way, Burbank CA, 91505.
Pre-registration is due by October 14, 2009. After October 14, 2009, a total of $5 will be charged as a late fee.
Same day registration at the track will be open at 12:30pm.

12Noon ~ Track Opens for warm up
12:30PM ~ Registration begins
2:00PM ~ Racing Begins
