News from our US Ladies at the Sydney World Cup ~ The US Ladies mean business in Sydney!! Click here for complete race results for all the Sydney WC Competitors.

According to Neva Day’s telephone report home today, Becky Quinn is “On FIRE” and racing really really well! Becky almost won the Points Race final and the Scratch Race final. After some juggling of the results due to DQ's & relegations she finished in 4th & 6th respectively. In total, Becky earned 12 World Cup Points for the US. Jennie Reed finished 2nd with a Silver Medal in the Keiren & she finished 6th in the Sprints for a total of 15 World Cup Points for Momentum Cycling. Sarah Hammer finished 5th in the 3k Individual Pursuit earning Ouch Pro Cycling 6 WC Points. Christen King is recovering from her crash in the Points race and will be as good as gold for the next WC this week. Neva Day , Liz Reap (she developed a nasty cold as she left the US for Sydney), Kele Murdin, & Dotsie Bausch all rode very well in each of their races and are looking forward to racing in Beijing this weekend.

Most of the Ladies listed here have blogs or websites where you can read all about their own experiences in their own words and learn more about each of them. If you’d like to follow their results & WC progress, Tissot Timing will be publishing the start lists & event results for each and every WC event and athlete.

The Ladies Only Track Sessions (LOTS) are not just for beginners! In addition to new rider certification, these sessions are a great opportunity for independent (beginners and advanced) riders to participate in a semi organized group warm up and workout much the same as the Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday open sessions.

During the first hour of each 2 hour LOTS there is a certification class available for new riders to attend. This is the perfect opportunity for experienced track riders and established women’s teams to get in some great time on the track for only $10 per person per session plus a FREE bike rental if you need it! All other regular co-ed sessions charge a $20 session fee PLUS $65 for certification PLUS $10 to rent a bike.

Have a super week Ladies!!
