It’s been a busy and successful track racing season for the Cross family!
The base for our track racing season began at ADT but our foundation was laid at the Encino Velodrome in the Bob Hansing Memorial Cup Omnium. After 4 races in the series we were awarded our trophies last night.
Kevin Cross (unattached – racing age 8) won “Most Aggressive Rider” in the Youth Division.
Rachel Cross (ShoAir/Velosport) won “Best Endurance Rider” in the 12 & Under division.
Colleen Cross (ShoAir/Velosport) won “Best Sprinter” in the 12 & Under division.
Julia Cross (Southbay Wheelman) successfully defended her 2007 title of “Most Aggressive Rider” in the Women 1-3 Division.
It has been a fun series! With large fields of Juniors & Women that are growing larger every race, we had some tough competition we had to out think to win!!!
We are looking forward to more racing at the track this year as we all prepare for the Championship season that looms on the horizon!
